Directions to St Stephen's Church
Situated in Tala

Exterior view of St Stephen's
The church building is part of a small apartment block within the residential area of Stephanie Village, Tala. The location is inland and central to a populous area of Paphos and there are multiple ways to access the location. Two of the most likely approaches are shown below, residents of Tala will easily find the church by heading out of the village towards Emba and noting the location as described below.

Directions from Emba

Take Empas Avenue, travelling  uphill towards Tala. The road is renamed Miltiadi Stylianou Avenue as it progresses upwards between fields and scrubland. The houses of Stephanie Village (mainly recent) begin to be seen on the left and then both sides of the road. There is a short row of shops on the left, which includes a Kiosk and Oliver's Delicatessen and culminates in the Stephanie Taverna which is situated on the corner of a side road. Immediately after the Taverna, on the opposite corner, is a pharmacy & a white painted 2 storey apartment block. St Stephen's occupies the ground floor area. Access for Services and most meetings is via the door facing the road. If the community room is used solely, e.g. for the craft group, then access may be via the side door on the right side of the building.
Parking - please do not park in front of the church, this area is reserved as a drop off point for people of limited mobility.  Safe parking can be found down the side street between the Taverna and the Church building, or a little further along the main road, outside the restaurant and shops on the right.

Directions from Trimithousa (and Polis road)

From the 'Polis' B7 road turn toward Trimithousa at the Papantinou Bakery traffic lights. Continue on this road (Ayios Neophytos Ave) towards Tala. Soon after a sharp left bend, at a wide junction, turn left, down by the side of the Tala Amphitheater. Descend  'Stephanie Hill' (Eleutherias Ave). At the bottom of the hill, either turn right to park outside the adjacent shops or turn left and drive approx.  another 75 meters. St Stephens is in the small apartment building on your right, just before the Stephanie Taverna. See above for more details on parking - please do not park directly outside the church.
