The first Anglican Church of Paphos Spring Fayre held at St. Stephen’s Church in Tala on Saturday 25th March proved to be a great success.
The church Craft Group which organised the event, would like to thank all those loyal supporters who came and made purchases as well as everyone who manned the stalls, made cakes and produce and supplied items for sale on the day. Let’s look forward to another Fayre next year

Our first ‘Grand Easter Monday Walk’ was a Great Success.
A big thank you to all those who took part in the walk last Monday.
You will be pleased to know that to date some €5,000 was raised for church funds and another €3,000 by those walking for a variety of local charity organisations.
Nearly 50 people took part in one of the three different walks; from Latchi to Sea Caves, a distance of 30 Kms; Sea Caves to Agios Georgios and back, a round trip of 12 Kms, or the 7 Kms return route from Sea Caves to Corallia Beach.
Chairman of the Major Fund Raising Team, Roger Bailey said afterwards “I was delighted at the response both in the number of walkers who turned out and in the fabulous amount raised. The weather provided the ideal conditions for walking and the event was enjoyed by all.” “We hope next year’s event will attract even more participants raising larger sums of money for their charities. Make a note of the date in your diaries now – Easter Monday 2nd April 2018” continued Roger.

Held on March 3rd 2017. Sincere thanks to all who took part, helped prepare the church, provided refreshments, flower arrangements, for the music, those who attended the service and especially Rev’d Marian for leading the service and to Rev’d Andrew and Canon Anthony.
The theme of the service was, “Am I Being Fair to You?” and it was prepared by Christian women of the Philippines.
The Cover Graphic, shown in the gallery, was designed by Rowena “Apol” Laxamana-Sta.Rosa, a 32 year old self taught artist who says, “I love to draw women as my subject because it reflects the struggles of being a woman.”
The offering totalled €333.15 which has been sent to the WWDOP Centre in Tunbridge Wells.
Thank you to all who gave so generously.
