​Fund Raising Barn Dance - Thursday 13th November 2025

Despite the threat of rain, and a spectacular lightening show, nearly 50 people congregated in Yiannis' Tavern in Kathikas for this popular fundraiser. Some great 'barn dance' outfits were admired and then after a couple of warm up dances everyone enjoyed a fabulous meze style meal before piling back onto the dance floor to dance it off - though there was more chatting than dancing going on in the end, a dedicated few kept the floor busy until nearly 11pm - time had gone by so fast they hadn't realised it was time to go! Thanks to Chris as always for her exemplary organising, Janine for calling the dances & organising the music, Pete for setting up the equipment and Yiannis and his staff for a fabulous welcome and a great meal.
