Craft, Coffee and Chat

A Craft group is held at St. Stephen’s, on Friday afternoons, 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm, in the social room which is accessed by a side door to the church. This is an opportunity for people to work on their own projects or to help to make things for future sales. The group produces knitted items, especially for babies and young children along with a wide variety of other sewn items.

We are a very sociable group and are renowned for our tea, coffee and scones!
What we produce is sold to church members as well as members of the public through our church bazaars. We also offer craft items for sale at outside various venues.

Items created during the craft group afternoons are sold for charity and also contribute towards church funds

From time to time various workshops and demonstrations are held covering different craft projects.
These are advertised in the Weekly Newsheet or on the Church notice boards.

We would welcome your involvement. You do not have to be a churchgoer or need to be able to knit, sew or to be artistic. It might be that you can help with a small practical task or in some other way.

The Craft Group are always grateful for any spare material, wool, craft items, stuffing from old cushions, etc.

Come and join us and get creative, sharing your time and talent for the work of our Church here in Paphos. We look forward to hearing from you if you feel able to help us or need to know more. All are welcome, even if you just want to come for a chat and company.
