On 6 October, the church remembers William Tyndale, Bible translator (c. 1492–1536). Tyndale was the first to undertake a translation of the Bible from Hebrew and Greek into English, although he didn’t complete it. His translation has heavily influenced English Bibles today. But who was William Tyndale?
