The Cradle of Christianity in Cyprus

Christ Church Ayia Napa is delighted to invite you to a special trip to some of the most beautiful and meaningful Christian sites in Cyprus. It will take place on Saturday 28 February 2026 starting at 10 am from Deryneia or at 11am from Famagusta.

We will visit St Barnabas Monastery, pray at the tomb of St Barnabas, learn how this tomb played its role in the independence of the church of Cyprus, explore the ruins of ancient Salamis, where Barnabas and Saul (later to become Paul) arrived for their first missionary journey, see the Byzantine basilica of St Epiphanios.

This will be a day to reflect, learn and enjoy one another’s company as we walk in places that have shaped Christianity.
After our visits, we’ll finish the day with a relaxed picnic together. Everyone is very welcome.
